Turkish Cypriot leader Mustafa Akinci and Greek Cypriot president Nicos Anastasiades had a social meeting today 23 of May, 2015 in the old town of Nicosia,
they walked together on both sides of the divided capital’s medieval center, first they went in the occupied old town of Nicosia and after they continued their walk in the free Nicosia.
both leaders spoke to shopkeepers and residents and the crowd applauded and called for a solution
Each leader spent around 45 minutes on either side, walking around and talking to people on the streets
It’s the first time that the leaders have done so together since the east Mediterranean island was split in 1974 when Turkey invaded in Cyprus
According to the Municipality: “5000 carnival, 17 floats, 25,000 spectators and a lot of fun, composed the scene that was played at noon Sunday in Kyrenia Avenue in Aglantzia, for the 5th consecutive year”
If the criterion of success for an event are laughing and playing, then the success is undeniable
In recent years the foolproof metrisis scoop for me is the children and especially, my daughter
and has proved to me, without having to have special skills (analysis, measurements, surveys etc.)
that children are the toughest critics, without having any social Behaviour criteria
So I asked my daughter: “Have fun;;;”

and a laugh (Gosh this laughter)
At night the house was quiet, calm, would you say empty, my little sleeping, motionless (no entreaties and no constraint) and occasionally “snoring”.
This morning, within the spirit and joy, telling me without pausing her yesterday’s adventures …….

Inside the Nicosia there is a space, like a diamond, I had the most beautiful surprise
the first time I visited I could not believe my eyes and did not expect that we will see something like that, accustomed to such places in Greece and almost everywhere in Europe
I refer to the Flea market there you will find that you want
as long as you have the desire to look for
The people there are friendly, smiling and open mood
Small stands with different things
and every weekend is open for memories and treasure hunters
Flea market celebrates closing two years of operation,
the friendly owner made a small party for friends with barbecue and free beer for all
My favorite place for relaxation that combines for me the relaxed cafe and for my daughter playground, was,
and unfortunately I say was, Park Prodromou was,
because the Nicosia Municipality 4 months ago decided to remove the swings and slides
from this little paradise, this small oasis in the city for many parents, couples, students etc
The time we went to ride, the children’s games has disappeared, Mr. Nikos who is the soul of this park, helpless tries to explain and he hoped that it will quickly be replaced
I say soul, Nikos because before installed in the park with modest refreshment stand all of the surrounding space was inside the trash, a perfect place for “illegal couples” and drug addicts
I do not know who is the mastermind but he must have some grand plan in his mind,
because you do not destroy a playground, a little paradise for children and adults,

Otherwise if you do it without a plan and schedule, then you have no mind or you are unable to work for the social good.
I am absolute, because I speak on behalf of my daughter
and for mr.Nikos, the man who still believes in dreams and he try for them
After a very long period of silence, I decide to show again the things I love,
all the things that makes me proud and happy
I collect some pictures from the project I’ve started months before with the “Volunteers doctors”
I visit them many times and I saw their try, their mood,
for me they are gentlemen and ladies, they are humans and they won my respect
In this health system, if you don’t have money you might die somewhere in the dark of your life.
I congratulate them and I am thankfull for our meetings and for their existance
It is forbidden to walk, see, remember, of course to do pictures…….

Today was a very special day for me…
I was in a swimming pool in Nicosia having fun with these “unique dolphins” and their “trainer”.
I feel lucky and blessed to have met this extraordinary professional who will assist me
on my next “project” and in the process of doing that …have fun with yours trully at the same time…..
Cant wait to be in the pool again follow and play with all these wild creatures !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Another day with a committee, experts speak and consider, the time goes by, the institutions of the state is in order, assured we can now rest and relax, custodians will solve the problems with such solemnity the democracy works, no problem
(usually, when we hear NO PROBLEM the battle begins, dropping bombs, people run to escape…..)
I learned it in Bosnia saying “nema problema”,
I saw it in Greece saying “κανένα πρόβλημα”,
Ι hear it now and here saying “no problem”, every day and almost in every committee
In one of the most famous streets internationally, for the check point to occupied Cyprus,

yesterday night a young group gave meaning and sound to passers
Two bouzoukis, a guitar, great voices, vivid youth, dancing, a little beer, a little crazy and it was great, they broke the monotony and routine of somewhat fashion street
