Athens, one of the most difficult and dangerous police stations in Greece for many years they handles cases related to illegal immigrants, prostitutes and organized crime in the city center.
Many organizations have denounced the brutality of the policemen and the police officers stationed there, say that their life is in danger every day because of the situation in the center especially after the economic crisis things are much worse than ever.
The police department called “Omonia”, a name taken from the main square in the center of Athens
and the name means: “Reconciliation”, “which is contradictory because every day we are at war,” says one officer
