One evening..

One evening before two weeks, I found myself walking in Pallouriotissa neighborhood,

I had a strange mood and a great need just to walk and make photos without a concept, just photos to clear my mind which has stuck

Always I loved this kind of neighborhoods the people are curious and knows the meaning of hospitality,

I found two teenagers playing there, in an abandoned square.

I was very suprised when I realized their game

One of them (Dani Amourri) filming his partner with an handmade tool for his mobile.

I asked from my new friend to send me what he got from his shootings with his mobile phone

so after when I had time I made this Video

The video I was made for them, for their inspiration,

This was the only large church in the whole of the Famagusta region dedicated to Agios Charalambos

and it was therefore a very popular gathering point for the celebration of the SaintΒ?s feast day

every February 10th

The United Nations, through the United Nations Development Programme, at the beginning of 2006

called for proposals for the restoration and maintenance of endangered monuments all over Cyprus.

Historically the village of Kontea is related to the mansion which existed there from the time of

the Franks. During the French occupation the mansion was the residence of a high-ranking officer

called Viscount. The name Kontea is therefore foreign and it originates from that time;

Kontea village is situated in a favorable position on the southeastern side of the Mesaoria plain,

between the three main cities of Famagusta, Nicosia and Larnaca. It was originally a Frankish fief,

later came to be known as the Frankish ciftlik.
